Welcome to the Toowoomba Bird Observers Club!

Established in October 1975 as the Toowoomba Bird Club, our group began with sixteen eager members and a shared aim: to explore the birdlife of the Toowoomba area and build a clear picture of both local and migratory species' movements.
These goals continue to guide us today. We welcome members of all ages and experiences to join us on our monthly outings to bird-rich parks, reserves, and bushland - both local and farther afield.
Our experienced outing leaders offer guidance and local insight that goes beyond eBird and Birdata, though we regularly use and encourage modern bird recording technology!
